Decluttering for Family Heirlooms

Following the passing of several family members, this client inherited multiple generations’ worth of belongings—filling an entire 1,800 sq. ft. garage.

One section of the garage, originally intended as a pantry, had become an overpacked, multipurpose space functioning as a pantry, laundry area, and holiday storage. After many dedicated hours, we fully cleared the space—thoughtfully discarding, recycling, donating, or relocating items into functional, accessible areas throughout the home.

Next, we carefully sorted through family heirlooms, preserving what held the most meaning. These treasured items were properly stored or displayed, transforming the storage room into a family archive—an organized, inviting space where memories can be easily accessed and appreciated.
