Decluttering with Intention

Although this family relocated to Florida years ago, many boxes from their original home remained unopened. Now, as the father prepares to downsize into independent living, he’s ready to let go of as much as possible.

We began by pulling all the boxes into the center of the garage and categorizing them based on their contents. With the help of family over the weekends, we carefully sorted through each box—identifying sentimental items to keep and setting aside the rest for donation, recycling, or disposal. Everything worth keeping was repacked into clean, stackable containers, and the cherished items were moved into climate-controlled storage for long-term safekeeping.
